Tuesday 13th August 2019   -   Test Track Day, Llandrinio Village Hall, come along to give your locomotives a run on our 0 gauge test track, meet other model railway enthusiasts, have a chat over a cup of tea/coffee and a slice of homemade cake.  We have traders including Buffer Books  with a selection of secondhand railway books and Alan Adams with a selection of boxes/cradles, along with occasional demonstrators and guest layouts.  There is a Bring & Buy Stall, with 100% of the sales price going to the owner - so look out that old kit, length of track or modelling tool or accessory.    Our 00/N gauge oval is usually operational too so lots to keep you entertained whatever gauge you model in.

Just in case we have heavy rain and there may be a risk of flooding you may wish to avoid the bridges, so if you are coming from Shrewsbury/Telford can I suggest the following route -

Use the A5 westbound until reaching the end of the dual carriageway part at Wolfshead Roundabout.  Come off at the roundabout and take the first exit signposted Knockin, the B4396.  In Knockin, do not take the left turn signposted Llanymynech. But carry straight on signposted Llynclys, staying on the B4396.  Pass over the railway bridge and station entrance to the preserved section of the Cambrian Rly.  At the major crossroads where the A483 is reached, Turn Left signposted Welshpool.  Drive through Llanymynech, over the river, until you come to the Four Crosses roundabout. Stay on the A483, i.e. take the 2nd exit.  After a mile take the first Left onto the B4393 signposted Llandrinio, where the hall is located on the Right, just before reaching the Filling Station.
